Is wood floor refinishing necessary?

If your wood looks worn and faded and has deep scratches or water spots, it's time to refinish. If you're unsure whether your floors need this service, we can assess the situation for you. And we'll tell you precisely what you can expect before any work begins.
The process, from start to finish
Sanding floors is the first step once we finish the evaluations and assessments. We'll work with you during this step to ensure as little dust as possible moves throughout your home. Once the floors are ready, we will begin adding new stain.
The final step is adding the texture and finish, which means a specific drying time. Most floors should be off-limits for at least 24 to 48 hours. But we'll tell you a precise time once your floors are finished.
Hardwood flooring refinishing after-care
Once we're done with the hardwood floor refinishing, we'll give you tips on caring for the new surface. As always, a broom or dust mop works for removing dust and debris. But you can also use a few area rugs or runners in spaces with high levels of in-house traffic for great results.
